Hey...did you know since nobody is reading this...I can pretty much type anything I want.
Recently my #3 Steve...um, all of my four boys are named Steve...anyway he's learning to drive. It ain't so bad for me, cuz I got an air bag on my side of the car. I do feel sorry for all the other folks on the road with older cars, motorcycles....and any person with a heart condition who happens to be driving on the same road...or sidewalk as my #3 Steve.
We've all gone through the 'learning to drive' stage in our lives. I remember driving an old pickup when I was about 13. It had a 'three on the tree'...which is a three speed manual transmission with the stick poking out the steering column. I was on a dirt road facing downhill and I popped it in reverse...then backed up to where the fork in the road was...then put the clutch in and coasted down the dirt road - transmission still in reverse - until I hit about 92 mph. Ok...maybe 10 mph or so. When I popped my foot off the clutch, the back of the truck started bouncing up and down - and my brother, all of about 15 beginned to wonder why his head was slamming against the roof of the truck. The truck's transmission survived...but my brother...well, he still ain't right. Like with anything else...I blame lawyers.
Anyway.....Steve #3 will eventually get his license.....and I will sit at home waiting for the phone call telling me of the accident. I have my Farmers agent on speed dial.
Here's a fun fact for you: Most librarians move their lips when they read....but the real pros wiggle their ears too. Look it up....it's true.

I can tell this is going to be interesting keeping up with you...
You are a strange man. That was pretty dang funny. Good luck with the driving thing!

I'm sure he'll do fine. Which brother was the unfortunate passenger?
